Upon moving to Baltimore for work, I wasn't quite sure what I was embarking on as far as residing goes. I had been working with Chris Currey in finding a place to rent. Once settled, I was to start the hunt to buy my first home. I put down a contract on a place and never got it. Chris phoned me to say that his partner, Judy, would be filling in for him to show me the property. When I met Judy, it was a sigh of relief. I just knew after about ten minutes with her that I was going to enjoy working with her and she was going to be the one to find my home. I had complete confidence in her because of her extensive knowledge of the real estate market and the geographic area. I hired Judy to be my agent and gave Chris the boot! No pun intended-Chris is great, but Judy was more of a match for me. Though the third property did not pan out, I was still on my way to find my first home. By the way, I was looking at condos because I didn't think I could afford a row home in the city. However, one day, Judy calls me to tell me, ecstatically, that she found a cute and perfect home for me. Just from her enthusiasm, I was extremely excited. When I walked in the house, I fell in love with it. How did Judy know I would love this place? With such little time I´ve spent with her, she was able to read my style, likes and, most importantly, taste. This home was perfect. Throughout the whole process, which was somewhat new to me, Judy was very attentive and answered all my concerns and made me feel relaxed, especially when this was my first time buying and being new to the Baltimore area. Judy provided me with excellent service, which made my home ownership experience, wonderful! Thank you, Judy!

When I graduated from grad school, my wife and I began looking for a home in Baltimore. We were living in D.C. and knew that our rent payment would cover a mortgage payment in Baltimore City so we made the trip up 95. We began looking around the city and came across one of Judy´s listings. Of course, we were not even close to being able to afford that specific listing, but she was kind enough to work with two poor college kids. We run across a lot of agents that didn´t take us seriously or we felt that many of the agents thought it would not be worth their time. We also felt that people were trying to take advantage of our lack of knowledge of the real state market terms on loans, closing costs, etc.
My wife and I wanted the experience of buying our first home enjoyable without the feeling of being over the head. Because we were so young, we also needed an agent that was looking out for our best interest and wouldn´t put us in a situation that the average real estate professional would know was out of our reach. Judy took us around to many houses and we eventually found our home after a few weekends of seeing various properties. Granted, all of these duties are her job, but you want to feel that the person you are working with actually cares and understands your situation. We not only felt that Judy cared about where, when and how we ended up in a house, but we also felt that she understood our needs and that made the buying process much smoother for my wife and I. Buying a home should be exciting, rewarding and timeless. We experienced all of those feelings plus more and, because of that, my wife and I would recommend Judy and her team to anyone.
